Mark graduated from St Johns College in York with an Honours Degree in Fine Art in 1988, specialising in Oil Painting.
He then had a 20 year career in Industry.
Having painted for pleasure since graduating, Mark has this year 2008 taken more time out to paint full time.

Mark lived on the West Coast of Scotland for a year and now living near to Loch Ness enables him to paint land and seascapes exploring the light and ever changing shades of colour that the Highlands offer.
