Inchnacardoch Bay just outside Fort Augustus is a calm haven for launching your boat, and at all times of the year offers a chance to see local wildlife, from migrating water birds to Otters.Walk in the forest and look out for the elusive Pine Martin or Red Squirrel.There are also plenty of Red Deer around.
Just recently five wild boar have been visiting the forest.They originally escaped from captivity in Glen Moriston and have started to breed.
